Nice build, I'm planning on very similar (same case, PSU, MoBo, and CPU cooler). Where there problems with CPU heatsink installation? Did you use stock mount, or pass through bolts? Any deformation or stress on motherboard? No problems so far. But the fan of the ninja does touch my OCZ memory. But ...

For different reasons, 1) yes because it was modular (to get a tidy case) 2) it is DAMN silent! 3) 520 maybe overkill but rather be on the save side 4) 5 year warenty! I wouldn't go as far as calling it silent... As for overkill, it's nearly 400W more power than your system will draw. A good 300-35...

Thanks for the comments guys so far! That's a whole lot of pics :!:  -- some pretty good ones, too. ;) Obviously nice work, looks like a good system. So... how quiet is it? As I'm sitting 1m from the case (I can touch it when i sit begind the PC) you can't hear the PC at all. The only time y...

[60+ PHOTOS] A Newbies Journey to a Silent PC [56k WARNING!]
SO! After I was away for a year, I came back to my old Athlon XP PC. So it was time for a new rig. Since I spend a lot of time behind it and cause its in my room, it's nice to have a quiet rig. Anyway, a week or 2 ago I started reading reviews etc etc etc, ended up ordering the PC and yesterday the ...

@ ALEX: * I've read about the "taping lowe chamber" thing. But I still dont get what part or wich holes? Could you perhaps be a bit more specific about this (with like a picture(s)) @ LAGUZ1 ~ As you have guessed, The Corsair is already ordered. But the extra watt aint a problem I guess for the futu...

Thanks for the info laguz1. I should have posted more specs (I hope im not hijacking this topic now). (I still have to receive all the hardware in the next couple of days) + The Ninja will cool a E6750 that i will be running around 3.0Ghz. But I wonder if I can have a E6750 at 3.0 passive cooled wit...

I also had a similar topic discussion on another forum. Here is my picture: http://mutednation.com/img/Antec_P182_Casefans_2.jpg One of the question were/are: 1) Would you advice to place a fan on 4 AND 5 at the same time? But do bear in mind that I want to have a Ninja Rev B with no fan + I have a ...

Sounds nice. I've recently been reading some reviews again and I'm getting frustrated about all the different outcomes of the reviews. Some say Nexus fans are one of -or the best fans with the best noise/CFM ratio. Others say Nexus is even below average. Noctua's are out of the question for me, caus...

Thanks for this "Cutting Guide". I recently also ordered 4 120MM Nexus fans with the Nexus fan mounts http://www.azerty.nl/_azerty/data/product/2/7/5/27578/img/1/G.jpg It looks like you got a new "version" of the fan with no corners? I hope I also get this version, saves me time and hassle cutting t...

My main concern with the bolt-thru mounting system is that I might screw them too tight. Can any one tell me "what might be too tight" ? Are they talking about the motherboard of the CPU when they say too tight? And IS it actually possible to screw it too tight? I mean, you can't really force it can...

Hey Guys, I just joined the whole "Folding@Home" project. I also added SPCR's team number. I have to say, how come I have never heard of this before? There should be a big worldwide campaign about this. I know for sure like 95% of the people never heard of this project. This is one of the easiest wa...
