Hmm 3 HD's and a water pump... I think that would be pushing it. I have the 350w version and it works fine for my setup. But then I only have one HD and no pump. Considering your specs, and that you want to overclock, I would say that to be safe, count the 350w out. But there is still the new 420w m...

I'm sitting here and its the most noticeable thing in my system (noise wise). Ugh, I dread ever buying it... I've been thinking about replacing it for a while now, but I don't like the Sunbeam because it goes down past 5v... Isn't that basically useless? I'd rather have that extra travel in the knob...

I have the original Vantec Nexus. It uses PWM, yet I do not find that it causes the fans to make any additional noise. However I do find that the capacitors buzz when you have a fan turned right down. When I have all the fans turned right down to ~5v the buzzing is quite loud and can be hard from up...

The big problem is the restrictive intakes. But you're right its not the different than the standard. I think people around here are just used to Antec and 120mm lovin'. Well I think that once I make the mods I will have no problems with using any hardware down the road. Also if heat does become an ...

Hmm ok. I was thinking that I could just cut one or two 80mm holes in the bottom and use something like this to filter the air. http://www.pcmods.com/ProductImages/GF80(300).jpg Or this http://www.bigfootcomputers.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/cooling/l_alum.jpg But that aside, given the mod's tha...

GamingGod, I've got an XP 2800+ Barton (stock speed), Radeon 9700Pro, and a Samsung P80 (on order). Oh yeah I forgot to include that. I plan on using AcoustiPack thoroughly. Hammer, Yeah I like that intake idea from the 6077. I wonder if that part is removable, and therefore orderable from Lian Li? ...

Getting a new case and I need input.
I know that this case has been discussed more than a few times already and I hope that I’m not pissing anyone off because of the repetition, but I think I have some new questions and ideas that make this post worth while. Thanks for reading. Right now I am in the planning stages of building a new sy...

I agree with the Plextor argument. I've always bought Plextor burners. But now that I am thinking about getting a DVD burner, I like the Plextor, but I also like the Pioneer A06. When it comes to CD burners Plextor is the best, and if you can afford it you will appreciate the superior quality. But I...

More HD's. I'd like to see the Hitachi 7K250, and new Raptor tested. I know they are no Samsung or Seagate, but maybe with suspension and enclosure they could be almost as quiet. I'd also like to see a shoot out between the Artic VGA cooler, and that newer Zalman Heatpipe the ZM80C-HP. I'd also like...

Yeah, that looks great. I am in the market for another fanless PSU since my SilentMaxx PSU died. Not only did it die, but I RMA'd with the hope of getting a new one. I say hope because its been over 4 months, and I've called their US office so many times that I've lost count and the kicker s that no...

Hmm, ok thanks guys. I'm not sure which Samsung drive he had. I think part of my apprehension is due to Samsung seeming like a (relatively) new HD company. Maybe they've been around for a long time, but as far as I have noticed, they seem to only have been around for a few years. Looking at that cha...
