for what you describe i would just use 7-zip http://www.7-zip.org , which can encrypt files with aes 256, which is very secure. it is also open source and free. Just zip & ecnrypt the file, attach it to an email and ask the recipient to unzip and read the file. quite simple and free. edit: just make...

I own a dell mini9 and it's silent (no moving parts). it's a good little machine, and i'm very happy with it. Not great for prolonged typing, but other than that it does what i want it to do, without problems. I also believe that the dell mini10v is silent, but can't confirm this as i haven't tried ...

I use clonezilla as it's free, open source, boots from usb to ram and works with local discs as well as over the network to a samba share. the problem is that it's somewhat technical, but using the standard settings is easy and works great.

I can recommend www.caseking.de as they have a good selection of cases (and other hardware). Shipping to denmark is reasonable and fast.
Edit: just saw a picture of the Origen AE M10 mini-itx case and it sure looks good:)

i use an Accelero S1 Rev.2 on a 8800gt card. Without fan the card runs hot, so i added an old 80mm papst fan (amazing fans btw. bought 3 about 6 years ago and they still run quiet), connected to a zalman fanmate and running inaudible at 650 rpm. The fan sits about 3cm from the accelero and is angled...

not useless, and can in fact have quite an effect, but suspending the drive takes about the same amount of work, and gives an even greater noise reduction. I only use the rubber mounts when there is no room to suspend the drive. Links for further reading: http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtop...

i tend to dampen the whole case, using something like this: http://www.thansen.dk/product.asp?c=238 ... 1226678725 it's really dense and stabilizes the whole case. silicone feet is then used to stop the final small amount of vibration
