I'm fairly new to this as well, so I can't add too much. Just remember that anything over 3GB isn't used unless you have a 64-bit OS. Also, are you using Firefox 2? All of my memory issues with Firefox went away when I upgraded to Firefox 3. Yes firefox 2 on that system, not practicle to upgrade it...

Really nice info guys. I have four 3.5inch drives currently at only 1.2tb in total. Going to order this case today and will just hold off buying drives untill i get it to see the real amount of room i have to play with. Not so sure why the external setups for harddrives are so very expensive. I like...

I killed 1 (out of 8 or so) expensive odd sized fan on a 1u IBM server by doing this. No big deal you might think but this caused the motherboard to register the fan failure and switch all the other fans into overdrive. Ever heard a plane take off indoors? The joys of 20(?)mm fans at high rpm! I loo...

Depends on the sort of hard drives. Difficult to get 3x 3.5in drives there, but not so difficult to get 3x 2.5in drives. What you would have to is to put 2x 2.5in drives vertically against the front facia and put the 3rd on the bottom. I currently have a 2.5in in a Scythe box (so 3.5in in size) aga...

Antec NSK 3480 Extra Harddrives?

Hi guys, looking at a Antec NSK 3480 but the onl thing putting me off right now is the lack of space for harddrives. I see some of you suspending harddrives etc in other cases, would this be an option for this case to get maybe 3 harddrives towards the bottom of the case somehow? http://www.overcloc...

Hi every one, been reading over this site on and off for a few years now. Love it but at the same time it kind of puts me off buying stuff - i do not want to be stuck with loud stuff :( I come from the uk and i am considering buying every thing from overclockers.co.uk, sadly alot of the advice i hav...
