Getting a picoPSU would be a good idea.

I would do the third option, just because some airflow (even a little) is necessary for a tight closed box like your mini-itx case. Luckily your case has a grille right above the heatsinks. But not much is needed, so start out with a low airflow and undervolt.

Yep a single graphics card system definitely will not use even close to 500w. On the other hand, PSU's tend to be most efficient at about 50% percent load, so you'll be saving energy.

Newegg is good about customer satisfaction though. I'm sure if you took that screenshot to them they would send you what you wanted.

Also, if they don't reply through email, giving them a call in person usually gets you what you want. Calling them shows you mean business.

Even if you are doing photoshop and 3d, a quad core CPU might actually be good because these apps actually use the other cores while games don't always. On the other hand, you will need a better graphics card. Especially if you're doing 3d, I would suggest a workstation card like ATI's FireGL or Nvi...

I frequently repair iPods actually. On most of em the click wheel can't be taken apart but on the Ipod Video, the click is made by a little silicon/plastic switch like the kinds under your keyboard. Yep, I'll test it and post results of it versus AC5 and some stock stuff from Xigmatek.

And yes, I know I'm new- i'm not joining just for the free thermal paste. I've been reading around but never really active on this particular board. But this test made me make the switch.
