So, Fractal Design 140mm silent series R2 fans have no clicking noise?
In that case, it just might be the right solution to get core 3000 with 2x140mm fans+1x120mm fan.
Any info on Corsair stock fans (cases 200R, N500) - clicking noise?

Looking for a fan WITHOUT ticking/clicking noise
Hi, i have decided to modify my computer and keep the components, just change the case and fans. So far i got 1. coolermaster hyper tx3 cpu cooler: working on 980rpm E8400 cpu. Satisfied with noise and no clicking/ticking sound. 2. PSU - chieftec 550 - satisfied - no clicking / ticking noise. Sapphi...

Re: Dilema Sapphire HD 6850 vs. MSI GTX 460 Hawk
Allwinner - that's a serious and illustrious review! Just the information i needed (to confirm Sapphire's domination :). I'll be getting the card in couple of days, just as i choose the motherboard :) 1. Power consumption - HD6850 takes the lead in power efficiency 2. Noise - HD 6850 generates less ...

Re: Video card for Adobe CS5 - silence please
As i write this I'm in the middle of searching for a decent motherboard. As of now I've put Sabertooth X58 and ASUS P6X58D-E on the list. Pretty similar boards though. I know this post is placed in video cards, so I might need to take my questions elsewhere. But I assume you did some thinking befor...

Re: Video card for Adobe CS5 - silence please
As for axee's input - i'm an occasional gamer and gotta play Age of Conan at least 2 hours per week :D That's why this video card has to manage some gaming. There is the benefit: gaming relaxation gets more creativity. Youre welcome johnsby. I've seen this test on tweaktown.com, and ive browsed many...

Re: Video card for Adobe CS5 - silence please
I've had the same issue with choosing a graphic card, since i'm dealing with graphic design and Adobe CS5 tools (PS ext., Illustrator). I've narrowed my choice to Sapphire HD 6850 and MSI GTX 460. I was concerned about 6850 because of Adobe CS5 features and nVidia's official support for Adobe (CUDA,...

Re: Dilema Sapphire HD 6850 vs. MSI GTX 460 Hawk
Yes, these links show Sapphire being quite silent than MSI 460 Hawk. Sapphire 6850 idle: 10,5 dB Sapphire 6850 load: 22,8 dB MSI 460 Hawk idle: 19,8 dB MSI 460 Hawk load: 24,8 dB So far, Sapphire has multiple advantages: silence, price and lower power consumption. There's a temperature issue, but i ...

Dilema Sapphire HD 6850 vs. MSI GTX 460 Hawk
Hello all, i got all the PC parts (i5-760, Antec P193..) except the graphic card.
