Re: Cheap case which has good sound properties?
Thanks guys for your input. I'm starting to think I just need to spend 10 euro's extra to buy for example the Nexus Thrio 310 Silent Case or BitFenix Outlaw. Too bad some cases have glow fans but you can't turn it off so these cases are no option like the Sharkoon Ms120. I'm not that much of a DIY g...

Cheap case which has good sound properties?
Guys do you know any cheap cases which come with good sound properties? I know already a lot of 'silent' cases but all are in a price range too high. I'm looking at the real cheap cases like Cooler Master 310, some Gigabyte cases and MS-Tech cases. Also a Antec Three Hundred second hand, but because...

Re: CoolerM Sileo 510 vs Antec Sonata Proto vs CoolerM Centu
damn, they tricked me The Sileo 510 doesn't have the foam. so angry, already paid it. When I saw 510 instead of 500 I only thought it could be better. f_cking capitalism actually, i doubt that this foam makes any big difference. a lot better would be some drywall-boards. anybody already played with...

Re: P183 or R3
P183v3 front USB3 port is just a route back to your motherboard ecternal USB3 port. Irreponsible design from antec. This ain't a problem any more as long as your motherboard has an internal header for front USB3.0. Just buy a USB3.0 header to normal USB3.0 connection. Connect to the Antec USB3.0 ca...

Re: CoolerM Sileo 510 vs Antec Sonata Proto vs CoolerM Centu
after many, many hours of research here and in the internet-shops I now have the choice between those 3 cases CoolerM Sileo 510 for $124 Antec Sonata Proto for $153 Cooler Master Centurion 5 II for $112 I know, the Antec is the best quality build, but is it worth the $30 extra (for me?)? Most inter...

Re: Need Help On HTPC dont know what to get so hard to pick
I don't know if you're looking for a certain style? If so you just don't have many choices with 6x3,5inch requirement. On the other hand you can buy two cases that matches your desired style :), one for the system and one for the hard disks. Something like the Fractal Design R2 Mini NAS might be an ...

Re: Alternative for Antec NSK 3480/ 4482 ?
FYI: It will be housing an Intel i3/i5 Sandy Bridge IGP system. Can you tell us more about your system? Will you use a 65 watt or a 95 watt Sandy Bridge processor? Do you plan on overclocking? How many hard drives do you need? Do you plan on using any 7200 RPM hard drives? Will you use a SSD? Do yo...

Re: can the Sileo cool a high-end gfx card?
I'm looking for a cheap ($100) silent mid-tower case, and the Sileo appears to be a decent choice, but it looks like it has the same cooling capabilities as a wooden box. Do you think it'll be able to keep an overclocked 6870 running, and if not which alternative should I consider? I read the revie...

Re: Case Upgrade w/ i7-2600K and HD6970
Looking for some case upgrade advance. The owner of the PC is a Part Time Gamer, Part time Developer and wants something much more silent and if possible less dust filled. Current PC: Older Antec with a TP-550PSU Has a Gigabyte Motherboard w/ 4HDDs, an LG DVD+RW Drive, a Q9550 w/ stock HSF and a HD...

Re: which kind of CPU cooler you should buy?
If you've got a modern CPU, you need a CPU cooler. [...] Just because a cooler looks, well, cool, doesn't mean it's good. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's good. [...] So, in the name of consumer information, I got a pile of CPU coolers, and I annoyed the heck out of myself for some day...

Alternative for Antec NSK 3480/ 4482 ?
I'm checking out some possibilities for a cheap but silent case and PSU combination. Cases like the Silencio and Design R3, Design mini, P183 v2 fall outside this budget. Via the Antec NSK-3480 (90 euro) on the best silent cases list (http://www.silentpcreview.com/article763-page1.html) I found the ...
