Re: Will Coolermaster Hyper N520 fit my case/mobo?

According to a number of sources the max CPU cooler height in the Fractal Design R4 is 170mm. That allows the Hyper N520 to fit or any number of other coolers too. Thanks for that info, edh. I am also concerned about the width and depth of the cooler. On this board, the memory slots are located sla...

Will Coolermaster Hyper N520 fit my case/mobo?

The stock CPU fan is OMG LOUD! It sounds like a gerbil-sized chain saw :-( So I'm looking around for an aftermarket cooler. No overclocking, just some audio/video production. I have an SSD that will hold the Linux OS. I would like to install an HDD to hold the big audio/video/photo files. I am ...

Which PSU fan direction? [Solved]

I need to install a PSU KINGWIN|LAZER PLATINUM LZP-550 into a Fractal Define R4 case. This is my first PC build using a new case without a pre-installed PSU. I'm not sure whether to install the PSU with the fan pointing up into the case or down towards the case bottom. There are holes punched in the...
