my MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr runs at 30°C in idle but I can't get the cooler below 30%, that is 1100rpm, with Afterburner. I guess that minimum level of 30% is enforced by the BIOS, so, would a BIOS flash be the only way to get below 30%? How risky would that be?

Probably stock clock will allow for a slightly quieter fan setting, the heatsink construction seems to be the same for both oc and stock. CPU will be a i5 3470. can someone recommend, out of his personal experience, a quiet mid-range card? I'd like to get a 7850 or 660 or 7870, if I can't find one, I would resort to the MSI GTX 650ti, which is reported to be quiet, but hasn't enough performance for me.

Do all Intel boards share the same BIOS, also the entry level ones like the DH77EB? Do you know a good review of this BIOS and it's fan control?

which 1155 mainboard does have the most flexible dynamic fan control for both cpu fan an case fans, preferably directly over it's BIOS? Low power consumption would be important, too, an it should be as cheap as possible, the H77-chip-set is enough for me.
