Lookee what I found

The way that 'sink looks, I'd expect the brand to be Thermalright. The specs of the fan make it sound like the really nice L1A'a with the ribbed housing. Can't wait to see some tests of it.

there is a site in the US that claims to have the 8mb drive now but they list the model number as sp1604n. i've even seen them list the drive on ebay saying it has an 8mb cache but again giving the model number sp1604n. i've emailed them a couple times to ask about it but they never bothered to res...

Got my 350 from xpdirect today. In a word: wow! After the initial spinup of the fan I had to put my hand in the path of the moving air to tell it was on. And this is while it was sitting in front of me on my desk! Plugged into my 8RDA with a Thermalright 800U and a 7 volted NMB 4710 series fan you c...

Nice purchase! The B20's are rated at 82CFM @ 39dBA. Whereas the B10's are 56CFM @ 29dBA. Actually, the stats for the B20 are on the page you linked in the first post: 72 cfm @ 30 dBa and that .pdf also says the B10's are 59 cfm @ 27 dBa gmjamez's fan spec sheet agrees (which is good since that's w...

The one thing you should be aware of is that (at least for the B20) the connector will not fit into a motherboard header, the holes are spaced too far apart. I had to rem...

according to this article that spray on damping stuff doesn't work that well http://www.7volts.com/quieter.htm I don't know how much I trust that article since it also downplays the effectiveness of several other techniques that are touted here on spcr (suspending and sandwiching disks, dynamat, et...
