Re: HDD Elastic Suspension... Show your pics!
I'm still using these cheap elastic bands. These are changed once every 9-12 month. I only use the 1st and 3rd slots. If the bands loosen due to heat, there's still the bands in the 2nd and 4th slots to prevent the drives from falling. BTW, I've a Barracuda IV 80 gb (remember those with the SeaShiel...

For those who're against sharing wealth with lazy people, smokers and other "non-deserving" people of society, have you considered the likelihood of yourself being caught in a situation where you might also require the benefits? It's just a bit strange that anyone would claim that they have full con...

I've a Coolermaster PL 12S12L 120mm rated for 1200rpm/12v. On a Ninja, the Coolermaster @6v is more quiet than the YL D12SL-12 @5v. Not sure whether these PL (powerlogic?) fans are still available. Do note Coolermaster orders fans from a variety of manufactuers. The CM fans you linked to appear to b...

Will Accelero S1 fit Asus 9800gt with Glaciator Fansink?
I'm concerned about the VRM heatsink on the right. Will the S1 clear it?
thanks

sorry for the obvious qn: does the stock cooler block the PCI/PCIe slot directly below it? Yep, it does, it's pretty tall. I don't see how ANY cooler wouldn't, anyway, as there's not much space left under the card. With my current configuration, the Accelero takes one additional slot and the fans a...

Just like how it's hard to tell whether an OS is good/bad without using it, it's hard to tell why companies don't upgrade from Office 2000 without getting involved in IT decisions. I worked as a temp in a bank last year. Their back office workstations were running Win98 and Office 97. No connection ...

So let's wrap this up. What you are saying is: I made a faulty assumption by thinking D12SL-12 FAN is a D12SL-12 fan. Instead, I should have ASSUMED D12SL-12 FAN IS NOT A D12SL-12 FAN. I should have gone as far as ASSUMING THERE MUST BE A D12SL-12 FAN, THAT DOES NOT MEET THE SPECS OF THE RETAIL D12...

I don't understand this entire thread at all. What furthur research needs to be done when the label already says "D12SL"? A simple re search for "D12SL" on SPCR forums would reveal 1000 or 1350 rpm, never 1700rpm... And a simple search on the case will reveal 1700rpm fans... The fact of the matter ...
