Shuttle DS61, any opinions about it?

Hello! Does anyone around here have any experiences with the Shuttle DS61 ? It has two thin fans and I wonder how they sound and if it's very noticable? Also, that rear exhaust looks very restrictive. http://www.shuttle.eu/typo3temp/pics/1778ea7770.jpg http://www.shuttle.eu/typo3temp/pics/82d2dc0bd8...

Would it be possible for you to share the file containing your nice front-panel design?
It would be much appreciated if you could, would very much like to have one myself. :)

Also do you have any photos of the insides of your computer so that one could see the results of your cablegami?

The case looks like this inside , here is another picture of a similar, but not the exact same model. I have a T3-P5G31 , like the second picture. Inside I mounted a Zalman CNPS7700-Cu with a modified black and white Nexus 120mm fan mounted on it. Also have a oem psu that didn't come with the case, ...

Looking for a low-powered server

I am looking for at low-powered replacement for my current personal server. The current one is very much overkill for what I do with it. It's an Athlon xp 1800, 512mb ram, 460gb disk(160+2x200), two nics. Not very quiet :( My criterias are * Low-power * Fairly silent * Runs linux (or bsd) * Has 2 or...

my dear (or deaf) neighbour plays Shania Twain for me.
I don't like it. And I cannot seem to drown it out. Oh well, it's probably som kind of revenge.

replacing 2,5" drive w/ cf-card in laptop?

I'm thinking about replacing the 2,5" ide drive in my laptop with an CF-card. As I most of the time just loads a ramdisk from the disk I think it would worthwhile... Any one to disagree? Or am I on a totally crazy path of thought? I can use a small portion of the card to save the config and use the ...

Fan idea..

I have an idea, but I'm not sure whether or not it will work. If you lock at your average hair-drier, it usually has a plastic (that gets narrower) part to make to air go through a much smaller "hole" than if it would go straight out. This creates higher pressure(right word...?) so that the air will...
