I would advise to spend $20 to get AX version. Even after looking at the pictures at german review, it still doesn't look like there is adequate HDD cooling. You might get off with one, two, maybe even three harddrives if you have a PSU with bottom intake fan, but 4 HDDs or more would be equivalent to suicide, AND as far as I see there is no rub...

I think the thing you're all describing is PSU related. I had the same problem with Enermax Noisetaker 475P PSU. I replaced it with 475AX PSU and the noise was gone.
