Had a search on Youtube but didn't find any comparisons, just Japanese videos of the CPU itself and its power draw... I'm trying to decide between the following (in order of price): Intel i3-540 @ £100 Intel L3406 @ £155 Intel i5-750 @ £160 Intel X3440 @ £185 Not sure whether I'm not wasting mon...

Does anyone actually own this CPU? Or found any reviews or benchmarks of it anywhere? I'm planning on using this together with a Supermicro X8SIA-F mobo. However, I can't find any comparisons of it with an i3-540 in terms of power useage at idle... The i3 has a greater clockspeed but not HT, but co...

Would appreciate some answers ASAP .

Nexus Fan Speed Control - Hardware or Software
Is it best to reduce a Nexus 120mm fan's voltage OR use software such as that provided by Asus to control the fan's speed? Also, how do I go about reducing the voltage? And which voltage is recommended on these fans? Finally, how do I connect 4 case fans to a P5W motherboard so that the Asus softwar...

Ducting Hot Air Out Of A Case - Good/Bad?
Is ducting hot air from a CPU Cooler (as shown below by silver bullet) a good or bad idea?
As most cases only have ONE exhaust fan, if this is covered by the duct, doesn't the case temp increase alot? Or is this not a problem?

Scythe Ninja-PLUS vs Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro vs Zalman CNPS9500 Trying to decide which to go for, the forum seems to have reviews of each but no close comparisons :(. I quite like the ninja as it'll be possible for me to funnel air out of the case, but I also like the arctic cooler for it's gr...

Geforce 4600 Cooler
Looking at some cooling for my VGA, what would you recommend? I've mostly heard about the arctic cooling range being the quietest and coolest. However would this arctic cooler said to be for X800 cards still fit my nvidia geforce 4600?

80mm upgrade to 92mm+
I have a coolermaster wavemaster aluminium case. Both the intake fans and exhaust are 80mm, would prefer to upgrade (exahaust fan atleast) to 92mm or even 120mm Nexus fans. How much work would it be cutting a bigger hole out at the back and what's the best tool for this? Reason for this measure is t...

Nexus 4090 4 Molex Query

Thus Nexus seems the right choice, could comeone please confirm this? But, Nexus only has 4 Molex connectors, may this be a problem? What, if any, are the down...

Nexus 4090 vs SeaSonic vs Other
So, I'm sitting here feeling very ill drinking pints of asprin and water deciding upon a new PSU to treat myself with. I've read alot about the Nexus but can't say I've heard much about the company. I always thought that antec were the best (quietest PSU manufacturer). I looked at the seasonic site ...
