There's not much of a difference according to Storagereview, in their review of the MaxLine III they say: "Maxtor has also recently announced the DiamondMax 10 series. The higher capacity DM10 units (250 GB and 300 GB) feature construction similar to the MaXLine III right down to the 16 MB buffer. A...

In the S12 datasheet there is a note saying "S12-500/600 supports 150W PCI-E with 6pin connector" and those two models doesn't have the same electrical safety certificates as the models with lower power. That's the only apparent differences I've been able to find, besides the power specs off course.

I suppose they should be the same hardware wise, what the OEM version lack is basically the cable management kit I think.
There are other places to find Seasonic PSUs in Sweden though they are most likely not revA3: search result at buggy.

I believe it's the other way round. 12V2 for the CPU and 12V1 for the rest.

I agree with what Jordan wrote. You can never have to much HD space (that is, off course, a subjective statement) and the price difference between a 40-60GB & a 80GB disk is negligible, so a 80GB drive will be in favour when it comes to the price/GB ratio. However, if you are certain that your stora...

Well, I agree with you to some extent, I use a very cheap yet very good HS myself - ArcticCooling Copper Silent 2, cost no more than 15$. However, a HSF is more or less mandatory with todays CPU so if your aim is to get your system as quiet as possible it's crucial to get a HS with good cooling perf...

Hm, yeah that's odd, looking at the rear pic it doesn't seem as if it has been shot from an too low angle IMO, the raised exhaust should be visible. However, if you look close at the rear pic there's a indent at the top of the case so, as you wrote, maybe it was cropped out.

The SI-97 is not compatible with the GA-7N400 Pro2 according to Thermalright, so before a purchase it's advisable to check up if that also holds true for the "non-Pro2" version.

I don't know where to find Zalmans resistors, in fact I'm not sure they are available at all anymore, at least I can't find them on their website. The yellow wire is for RPM, so cutting it won't help.
