The only option AFAIK is lm-sensors. But that project is now overtaken by hwmon.
GUIs - there are some mentioned on the lm-sensors article on wikipedia.

Two other monitors are the XG2703-GS from ViewSonic and AGON AG271QG from AOC. The image will be softer and blurry if you run a 4K monitor at a lower resolution. How much differ between monitors and if it will bother you or not depends on how sensitive you are to it, I run some games at 1080p on my ...

There's a review here. The translation to English seems to be only somewhat better than googlish. However, their fan reviews contains more data than many other sites so the graphs and tables are always useful.

It's too bad they no longer translate their reviews to english. But since you are from Germany I assume you won't have that problem.

How's this one? I saw that Mike said Lian-Li PC-12 had a poor air flow design and not recommended... what about this one? It looks newer http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio/pc-b10/ I have the PC-B10 and there's no problem with the airflow. But it does improve, of course, with the door open - cle...

And I still haven't figured out what the difference is between Core C-state and Package C-state. If anyone has a link to a guide explaining all of this, that would be awesome. Not exactly a guide but this Wikipedia article might be useful, especially if you follow the links/references at the bottom...

Techpowerup has a review of the passively cooled NUC case from Tranquil PC. The Silverstone prototype shown a year ago was said to be passive, now when it's in production it turns out it comes with a fan . Passive cooling might still be possible as the fan is removable and the top cover has an inte...

MSI was playing around with an external enclosure last year...but as far as I know, it never came to market. Yea, they showed a prototype called GUS II during CES2012 but it was scrapped in the end I think. Earlier this year, at Computex, Silverstone showed their version of the same concept; Silver...

This case has a lot in common with the Define lineup from Fractal Design, it would be interesting to see how this case performs with one of the front fans relocated to the side panel, the same way as the Define R2 was tested. That might be the single factor that differentiates these two cases from e...
