For the last few years I've used a Resorator1 with a bunch of different waterblocks. And even a watercooled PSU. The Resorator1 came with a Eheim pump. Which started to rattle. I had it replaced, and the friendly people at the store gave me even another (heavier) 3rd Eheim pump. In case the replacem...

It's gonna be tough to build a system that is completely silent. You can replace the cpu fan and gpu fan with a waterblock. No problems there. But now you have 2 problems left. 1) The PSU. What are you gonna do ? Most PSUs have a fan. And that fan makes a little noise. (All fans make noise, no matte...

Thanks for the replies. I think I've found a german reseller who ships to NL. http://www.aquatuning.de/product_info.php/info/p2059_EK-Water-Blocks-EK-FC8800-GTX-SLI-ready.html Leadtimes seem pretty precise, so if they do what they promise, they will ship 2 different brands of blocks later this month...

Watercooling an nVidia 8800gtx videocard
I used to have a fully watercooled system. I want one again. AMD3400+ cpu, Radeon9800Pro, SilentMaxx psu. All watercooled with a Resorator1. No airflow through the system. Worked pretty well for 1-2 years. Then one hot day, the memory on the r9800pro melted. I replaced it with a GF7950gx2. Which is ...

Thanks for the info. Those powerconsumption numbers are very interesting. Too bad the consumption for the R9800Pro isn't there. But from other sites it seems to be 54W. My whole system uses 270W. My cpu+gpu is at 143W. This is the amount of heat that needs to be cooled by the Resorator, *plus* the h...

Thanks for the reply, zds. The most important piece of info you give me is the difference in heat output between a X800XT and a X1900XTX. I hadn't realized the difference was so big. Indeed, the memory parts on the X1900XTX might need extra cooling then. I am very reluctant to add any fan. I went th...

Radeon X1900 XTX in a fanless Resorator system ?
I am planning to upgrade my current system. My current system is watercooled, totally fanless.
