As said by Steve, it mostly depends of the build: BTW the Define C sports different fans (actually different bearing, lon...

However I just have to protest against that... hot box??? :? Yes, and there are also some data around for the Thetis, in french : those cases, as well as IME most of inverted ATX designs and closed front panel ones, run noticeably hotter than competitors. I am sure it also will work fine with the t...

Take a look at Raijintek Thetis ...snipped out... CPU heat is exhausted by a bottom rear fan. It suffers of the same Styx & Metis (and of both inverted ATX design and solid front cases) issue: it's an hot box, at least with stock cooling, and particularly for passive GPUs, and it cannot be improved...

Looks like the Noise adapter is out of the question then because the M12-P is 2.04 Watts. It's borderline, not unfeasible, but neither comfortable. I took a look at the TY-147A and it looks like it has 120mm mounting so I might be able to use the stock 120mm clips to mount it possibly? It's definit...

I have the GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5, and yeah lowest RPM is 1077rpm at 0% PWM In PWM that's the speed range (1000-2000rpm), it can be downvolted 3-400rpm more but you don't have a proper header (a fully controllable DC one, I mean). case I look at is Phanteks Evolv TG edition The Phanteks EVOLV suffers of a too restricted airflow, and a SLI setup is starved for air. If you like the EVOLV over any other design, a watercooling setup could be better suited. The Enthoo Pro (not M) is in my experience the most versatile case in Pha...

RPM isn't fixed - look for "IntelliSeek". IntelliSeek is already implemented in WD Blue & Green. Here we discussed those things several years ago (likely a decade ago, IntelliSeek was already here with the venerable Caviar SE16), and your interpretation is plainly wrong.
