Would a GPU with an AIO watercooler be able to fit? If so, keeping in mind pump noise, I wonder how say, a Fury X would do.

275W peak power draw

Thanks, I was (secretly) hoping you'd review this, but hadn't seen much coverage of it and wasn't sure if you get one.
With the GPU being so hemmed in, it'd be interesting know if setting one GPU fan to intake and another to exhaust could improve airflow despite some hot air being recycled.
Despite it's shortcomings, I can't currently think of a smaller case that would accept a full size GPU.

I think the lack of adequate ventilation for the GPU exhaust was a major oversight on Fractal's part. It basically makes higher end axial fan cards a no-go in the case.
I can tell you with virtual certainty that the Fury X would not be able to fit. The card is too long, the radiator won't fit, and there would be no room to route the tubing.atmartens wrote:Would a GPU with an AIO watercooler be able to fit? "gaming" case. Right. Totally. I'd take the Node 304's bulkier form any day of the week for that.

This would have been a decent HTPC case for Kabini or something if only it could fit an optical drive. Maybe I'm in the minority these days, but I still can't functuon without an optical drive, and external ones look like crap in a media center.

Suggestion to the article's author: Wipe your greasy paw prints off the merchandise before taking photos.

"Standard 1" thick fans could be used if you pull the stock fans off the video card cooler" - from the original article, i would like to know more on such options because i really like the case and i want to build a pc using it if i can just pack one of the latest gpu in there such as a r9 300 series or a 980 ti..

Is the reduced width worth the reduced space and clearance for fans?
