Firefox update screws up posting.....

Post by Bluefront » Sun Feb 25, 2007 9:20 am

Yipes....I just updated Firefox to version 2.0.0.2. Now when I hit the "enter" key to change paragraphs, the entire browser crashes, and I lose whatever I just typed. It has happened four times in a row. Plus I updated two other computers to this new version. Haven't tried them yet for posting. For now I'll confine myself to one paragraph.

Hmmm, I haven't noticed that problem.

Here's a new paragraph.

But I have noticed that certain symbols aren't displaying. I just get a little 'o' in a lot of places in the articles for example. I remember something like that a while ago. Haven't looked up on the Mozilla forums yet if the new version is causing any specific problems.

Hello Carl,

I am now using v2.0.0.2 (for a day or two) and have not had any issues with it.

What flavor of Windows are you using? (WinXP Pro SP2 plus all updates, for me.)

Are you using Ubuntu by any chance? My friend told me, that firefox was crashing on him constantly with linux.

Firefox is a really sucky browser :(, too bad it's the best there is...
