Damian Marley - [ Welcome to Jamrock ] Welcome to Jamrock
new mp3 tags, new mp3 program. I switched to foobar2000, since winamp couldn't handle my library anymore.

Cannibal Corpse - Necrosadistic Warning
I tend to like more intelligent forms of Death metal, but CC works greatly on occasional braindead headbanging periods.

Go into the preferences, General, Keyboard Shortcuts, Add New, filter list for "copy name", then select "context / now playing / Utils / Copy Name(s)" and give it a key. If you check the "Global Hotkey" box it'll work even if foobar is minimised or in tray. Remember to Save All.
Personally I used shift-ctrl-c for the shortcut. I can copy with chift-ctrl-c then ease off the shift and paste with ctrl-v as I would normally.

wow, I'm a retard, that's exactly what I was doing with winamp, why didn't I think to try it on foobar2000? Anyway, thanks for the help, I use Ctrl < (the < key is between the left shift and the first letter on the german keyboard (y for us, z for americans)).

In the OT topic, it's often the sounds of ignorance maintaining their superiority, ironically enough.
