Hello all, its been a while since I last posted. I'm looking for a quiet USB fan. I've tried a few but they were all very noisy... I think the problem is its small dimensions and the cheapy soft material used for its blade to avoid giving you a nice shave.
Anyone found one or know of one that is quiet?

I'f you're looking for something to move some air in a closed box or similar - just use an ordinary case fan and chop the wires and connect it to an USB cable that you have chopped too.
Worked fine for me

Nice suggestion.
You got any idea what type of fan I should use? I don't want it to be too big. 8cm max probably but 6cm would be better. I need it to blow quite a bit of air so what fan will reliably start at 5v yet push out enough air. It doesn't have to be very quiet.
