Sounds dead to me. I guess your warranty is still good, since the card is fairly new. The sooner you return it to the store the sooner you get a replacement.

I've replaced the stock fan with a Artic Cooler, so I'm guessing it'll be void?

I still have the old cooler, reckon I could get away with it?

Ouch. Replacing the cooler breaks the warranty all right.

The ethics of it aside, I guess you don't have anything to lose by trying. Chances of getting the card to work again by yourself are pretty slim. If you have a PCI card you can boot with, you might try to check/reflash the BIOS, but that's a pretty long shot.
