9600xt and VGA Silencer Rev. 2??

I have read that the 9600xt and VGA Silencer Rev. 2 are not compatible with each other. But I read at a few places that you have to modify something to make it work. Can someone explain what needs to be done to get them to work together? I don't know if I can wait for the Rev. 3 to come out, unless I have to.

Hi travanx, I don't know about 9600XT but the VGA Silencer can be fitted to a 9600pro as detailed in this thread. I did this mod a day or two before finding this tread and it cools my 9600 pro just fine, infact in 2D I tend to have it turned off!
