Copper Ramsinks more prone to falling off than Aluminum?

They make noise, too.

Copper Ramsinks more prone to falling off than Aluminum?

I've read of guys at [H] and elsewhere that complain of Ramsinks falling off. Is this less of a problem with lighter Aluminum sinks?

I doubt it.

I think it's more of a function of how good the attachment is (glue, tape, etc.).

One of the best attachment methods I've used is thermal paste in the center of chip / heatsink and superglue at corners. Tranfers heats and sticks like hell.

Totally "warranty void" attachment though :)

Perhaps they fall when using double sided thermal tape, but if you install them the proper way, like with arctic epoxy, they should cling on forever.
