Manufact. that let you replace heatsink? & keep warranty

Does anyone know of a video card manufacturer that will let you replace the heatsink/fan with a quieter model and it not void the warranty?

Or, perhaps, a retailer who sells modded cards with several years warranty?
...Or a retailer that will give you a warranty (from them) that covers mods to the heatsink/fan?

This would make a lot of sense if the GPU's had heatspreaders. Unfortunately, only a small portion, like FX5900's, do. A lot of GPU's look fragile, and the radeon 9600 series has a bit of a reputation for it.

Considering that you can't even swap the heatsink on your CPU without voiding the warranty, I wouldn't expect a video card maker to allow it either.

But as long as you are careful of compatibility when selecting your new cooler, its a very simple, safe mod to do.
