Hi people.
I am building a system with a Corsair Obsidian 700D case, Core I7 2600K CPU and Radeon 6970 GPU, and I want to use a Swiftech H20-320 HD Edge to cool both the CPU and GPU.
Are the fans or the pump quiet or noisy?
Swiftech rates the fan as 38 dB, which is "Subdued, Quiet office or library; Typical PC" according to the Noise Primer here on spcr.
They also include 7V and 5V adaptors... I will not overclock the CPU or GPU, so, do you think if using one of those adaptors will be ok to cool down and also reduce noise a lot?
Or, is it a better idea to replace the fans?
My main interest in this product, it's because it's a kit, and can work with CPU and GPU, I was considering the Corsair H100, but that rules out the GPU...
I don't want to buy everything separate or cumbersome, I like the idea of the Swiftech all-in-one radiator, reservoir and pump... Any other alternatives in this same line, from another manufacturer?
Also, should I mount as exhaust or intake on the top of the case?
Thanks,
Raphael

I don't know but maybe this helps: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cooler ... html#sect0

I think you stick to air cooling.
But if you are looking for high impedance fans for water cooling. Scythe Gentle Typhoons have a reputation for being booth quiet and effective in such applications.

I dont know their fans, but for a not too thick rad, my favourites 120mm fans are GT AP14 (15 are too loud) and corsair AP120 QE PWM (I believe that are quieter than then non PWM variant)
