Question about PCI slots for DIY NAS

Post by Mike_P » Mon Jan 15, 2007 8:34 am

Will this card http://cgi.ebay.ca/Adaptec-2610SA-64-bi ... dZViewItem work in a regular PCI slot?

I can see it's different, and designed for a server type 66MHz PCI slot, but it is backwards compatible w/ a 33MHz conventional desktop pci slot?

Thanks

as far as i know it wont work on a 33mhz bus, i know that devices are very bus sensetive from overclocking,so unless you can find a special motherboard that will take it im quite certain it wont work, email your motherboard manufacture, ask them
