Sempron 2200+ ??

Post by galba » Tue Jun 14, 2005 1:18 am

Hi

I don't see this cpu listed on the noise/heat rankings page, so I'm assuming AMD have renamed it from something else. Is it a Barton or T'Bred core, mobile or desktiop, locked or unlocked ?

Sorry for the dumb questions but I've been out of the circuit for a couple of years.

I'm moving my 1700+ unlocked T'Bred to an AOpen CX18 and am looking for a low cost replacement for my current kit which has an AOpen MK79G-N Nvidia main board. This doesn't have VCore adjustment but does have full control of clock, multiplier and FSB

Thanks

The Sempron 2200+ is a Thorton. Runs around 41-45C on idle in my mATX case (side fan blowing directly at CPU). Don't know about load temp (never tried pushing it).

Hope that helps a little. Cheers!
