Announced on Tom's Hardware, referenced on slashdot and Engadget, etc. Samsung 32 GB solid state disk, 1.8 inch format. Nothing solid on price or release date. The article's author makes a $750-$1000 price estimate.

That would be a real boon for building quiet/silent PCs! Better performance and totally silent operation!

D'oh, guess I didn't look very carefully. Now why didn't that show up in a forum search for "samsung"? This thread can be locked or whatever then.
