need a 24v 60mm fan

Post by dasman » Sun Mar 20, 2005 9:20 am

Let me start off with.... Please don't reply with "mod the case for an 80mm fan, 60mm is too loud" or something similar  This is not for a computer, it is for an HP Digital Sender in a corporate environment and mods are not an option.

I need a 24v, 60mm 3pin (tach) fan -- the existing is a screaming Sanyo Denki that was custom produced for HP. I'm trying to get the specs from the manf, but as near as I can match it to their catalog -- it needs to push around 20cfm and draw around 0.07A -- I'm guessing that puts it near 4000rpm.

Thanks for the help, I'm having trouble even finding a source for 60mm 24v fans...

Digikey, Mouser, and/or maybe even Allied Electronics. The trouble is that I don't see too many items with the EXACT specs you're looking for. i.e. I can find a lot of 24VDC 60mm fans from Digikey, but few if any have 3-wire tach output, or will blow 20CFM at the power you require.
