basic fan controller?

I had a NZXT sentry 2 and it worked OK...but I just fried it by accidentally pinching the cable in my case and shorting it out. So, I want a new controller. the NZXT was nice but I only got it because it was on sale for $10 at the time. I really only need something that will drop the fans down to 5 or 7 volts but let me crank it up when gaming. I liked that the sentry could completely shut off the fan as well. Knobs are preferrable to touchscreen, but touch worked fine too. Oh, and cheaper is better but I want something that works. I have a spare 5.25 bay so I can use 5.25 cotnroller or 3.5 witha dapter. I only need to control 3 fans since i have decided to let the mobo work the CPU cooler.

any suggestions?
