Congrats to
BMWBMW. a
little overdue.
But not overlooked. This is the "slow" folding season. At least it is quiet!!!!!!!

heh... Thanks guys.
I only just noticed this post... and my >100000 pts. I did use to check the stats every day but now that the overtakes are so few & far in between, there's just not the same incentive.

Some interesting notes on my run to 100K.
It took 146 days from the start of the first WU for SPCR. Average of ~685 points per week. Thinking back, I got to ~30th place in less than 90 days, but has now taken 70+ days to get to 17th.
I check my stats often, but the overtaking fun is definately gone. The upside is that with no threats, I have less desire to but more folding PCs.

I feel similarly, though 'twill be a while before my lab gets more boxen (and a *looooong* time for me to get more personal machines). However, I feel a bit of the old excitement with the prospect of passing
mjrusso and
zhentar in the next could of weeks or so. I'll then look forward to seeing you,
BMW in 277 days.

Congrats
tomcat!
You slid in there while I wasn't looking.
Hope you had a great vacation.
Things have been kind of slow around here.

Thank you for asking!
Lately I have been watching lots and lots of baseball. The NBC (National Baseball Congress) tournament championship game is tonight. It's game number 90 of this tournament, which has been held annually in Wichita since 1935. Actually, I have been watching oodles and gobs of baseball (high school and college summer ball) all summer.
That's not really my excuse though. I got to #6 and the team got to #20, and it didn't look like either of us was going anywhere for awhile, and I guess I lost interest, although most of my hardware is still folding.
I am pleased to see that others (Pete, Neil, etal) have done a bang-up job of keeping things going, and that the team has continued to grow and remain strong.

Thanks, Pete!
It kinda snuck up on me. A couple of big-point weeks in a row and all of a sudden there was another digit in EM-III yesterday!
Lots of faster folks coming up behind me, though. I think I've peaked in SPCR ranking and I'm just going to get pushed down the ladder if I don't build a folding farm. All it takes is money, time, and electricity, right?

And a
little space.
Go for it Bro.
.
Don't worry about your # changing... I've been stuck at 79-82 for Bloody ages now. As soon as I come across some non-folders to go past, some more folders come up through the ranks to go past me
. I've past about 20 odd people and I'm still where I was .
Starting to feel like home.
Go for that farm.
Regards
Pete
P.S. Your welcome, anybody who contributes deserves recognition, 100K
especially so.

Thanks! And yeah I know I'm kinda slow. Just noticed this thread when it floated to the top again..
I'm maxed out on CPUs without buying more hardware. And I seem perpetually stuck around position 17.

A 1,000,000 point club will be in order before too much longer
