They probably should have used two to three times as much metal for the cover/heat fins.

I know right? Maybe they were concerned at how it would look comparted with the SlimBox. I guess sometimes function takes a backseat to form.
But the fact that it is warm (or hot) to the touch simply means the heatsink is functioning as it is intended, right?

It's warm because there isn't enough metal to dissipate the heat

Well it's not supposed to be cold, but warm sounds a little bit to warm to me. My H1-S is not warm.
