Since I start building, I was plagued by GPU coil whine issue. I have had thought to put my whole computer in the closet with a 15ft cable, which never underwent because I was "confidence" I can build a silent rig w.o the use of "cheat".
After months of swaping/rmaing/mounting fans for GPU(at least 10 of them), I order the cable last week and arrived today.
COIL WHINE GONE (mostly, still noticeable if I concentrate) , CHECK.
FAN NOISE GONE(don't have much anyways~), CHECK.
Another life lesson learned.
By the way 15ft is limit for non active cable @4k60, If you only run 1440p below, 25ft+ works fine.
One cable beats my months of effort.

Ah, the oh-so-often-overlooked tip #1 in silent computing, put PC in the other room!
