mass storage

Does anyone have experence with these http://www.buffalo-technology.com/webco ... eraStation?

I'm looking for something between 500-1000G that can handle backups and media storage, that isn't going to mash the silence I've worked so hard for.

I think chtudor is just trying to keep his house warm without having to actually turn on a furnace. I've got 2 machines in my room, a Northwood P4 3.06 and a P-Mobile 1.0GHz Laptop and if I leave the door closed the temp shoots from 21 to 27 degrees. Only three machines at home folding. A P4...

Just got passed for the first time since I joined the Team (and the Fold) a month and a half ago. Chtudor zoomed past at 2000PPD: what's a mere mortal supposed to do against that :?: You guys have been at this longer then I, I'm just trying to make up for it. Trying to stem the tide that is present...

Your link doesn't work. I searched for reserator and found your album. At least I hope it's yours. Its the reserator with the acrylic shroud, right? Looks nice.. How much difference is there in cooling performance compared to without the shroud and fan? Sorry about that, I fixed the link. Depending...

I just replaced my zalman block Why :?: I'm planning on buying a Zalman WB2 water block... Was there something wrong with it? No, I'm just cooling a LGA 775 so I was trying to drop the temps below 60C. I also built a plexiglass tower around my Reserator and mounted a 120mm fan on top to pull air up...

PWM temps

Well, I've finally got the system's noise level where I want it, but I've got a PWM temp issue. Here's what I'm running: Abit AS8 MB P4 Prescott @3.6Ghz (not overclocked) 1Gig (2x512M) Kingston HyperX memory ATI 9800 pro 256M (ATI Silencer 3) 2x 'Cuda 7200rmp 120G SATA drives Plextor PX-716A Sonata ...

Just my $.02. I just replaced my zalman block and pump with a TDX 775 and Eheim 1250 pump. Amazingly the 1250 isn't any louder then then stock pump so long as it's isolated from hard surfaces and the change bought me 5C over the stock zalman rig. I did have to modify the TDX a bit to get it to fit r...
