Thanks for the feedback - I didn't know you could do that.
I think the best bet for me is to swap to mini-itx as the boards are available. Just need to find a case I like! There are some pretty small ones by Silverston like the PT05 and Hoojum Cubit.

Nano-itx motherboards with hdmi?
Long time fan of SPCR embarining on a media centre PC.
Are there any nano-itx motherboards with hdmi incorporated?
Have seem plenty of min-itx boards, like the Albatron KI690-AM2 Mini-ITX, but I really want to use Silverstones LC08 case.
Cheers

Sythe ninja plus rev B motherboard compatibility
Just in case anyone else tries this combination - the Scythe ninja 775 mounting plate is NOT compatible with the EVGA 680i motherboard as it is obstructed by capacitors on the edge of the motherboard. A simply modification is to snip 2-3mm of the edge of the mounting plate on one side to allow clear...

I've fitted an SI97 now. Unfortunately it doesn't fit my motherboard very well - there's resistors/capacitors on either side of the CPU! This means that the centre of the CPU is not aligned correctly with the heatsink because I've had to site the heatsink off-centre. So unfortunately I don't think t...

Fanless cooling for XP 2600+ in Silentium T2
I've bought a Silentium T2 case and have now realised that my CPU heatsink is rated at 30dBA, so it looks like I need to change the CPU heatsink to get the best from the T2 case. I have a Athlon XP Throughbred 'B' 2600+ If 68W is the max power for this processor - could I fit a copper zalman flower ...

I've just bought one - comments to follow shortly
Fantastic in depth review and great reading. I especially like the mp3 sound clips. I'm currently running an old Antec KS282 rig with no silent features whatsoever and a QTEC gold 450W PSU - its safe enough to say that this PC is really noisy - I don't have a sound meter, but I estimate well in exce...
