yeah, that's how I want it to look!

Cool, thanks.. I was thinking about mounting it with superglue, but I might want to change fan in the future..

And yep, it's a tower case, so the MOBO is vertical..

Thanks!

Hi! Yeah.. looks like it's an 120mm fan then. I have done some searching, but the 92mm model seems to be more popular around here. Well, then I'll try to get hold of an nexus 120mm.. Just discovered that they're out of stock at all retailers :x Shaft0rz: That helped very much thank you. How was the ...

Hi!

The size of the fan is 92 I think, not quite sure..

I actually just opened a new thread about changing the fan in it, but thought I might give lower volage a shot first.

The fan-swap thread is in the CPU cooling forum.

Thanks!

Slowing down the fanmate

Hey all!

Is there any easy way of making the zalman fanmate produce a little less voltage?

My zalman is a little bit too noisy as it is now.. Would the zalman fan spin at lower voltages?

I
ve tried slowing it down further with SpeedFan, but it just stops spinning.

Thanks!

Hi!

I wouldn't suggest the Zalman. I'm not happy and all and wil try swaping the fan so something a little bit more silent.

Hi!

The stock cooler is way to loud, IMO.. and doesn't perform well at all

EDIT I messed up the thermal pad on the cooler when first mounted it, so it might have been a littl louder that it should since the CPU idle temp was 65..

Hi !

Well, the airflow in my comp. is quite good at the moment, and I will try to make it even better..

I will probably try to swap the fan for a nexus (?) and see what happends. If no gain, I'll go a head and buy one of those fanless PSU's since my temps are decent.

THANKS!

Hi! Thanks for the warm welcome! I live in Sweden actually.. The only thing I care about is getting the whole thing a little more silent, but I'm unsure wether that's possible or not considering the PSU is considered very silent to begin with, but I'm not happy with the sound at all.. I would gladel...

But I'm not really that pleased with the sound level.. Currently, I only have two components that ma...
