i am thinking of these three right now: Noctua NH-U12F Thermalright ultra-120 + nexus 120 thermalright SI-128SE + nexus 120 but what i have read the ultra-120 doesn't seem to work as good on socket 939, and mayby the same for SI-128 SE sense it uses the same mouting kit. but if you use a spacer to i...

sonata frontfan+results
i have read many reviews and all of them seems to say that adding a front fan in the sonata case doesn't lower temperatures. but i wanted to test it for myself so today i added a nexus 120 mm fan in the front, or behind the hd-rack. i run the fan at around 950 rpm. and it lowered my cpu temp by 4 de...

has anyone tested to use the duct but to saw it off over the 80 mm and only use the lower part of it to cool the graphic card and to get some cool air in? because then it wouldn't sit in front of the back case fan, and still some cool air could get in. with the duct i mean the included with the sona...

So i am thinking of using Q-fan on the motherboard and to put the fanspeed where it want it with a fanmate 2. it this a smart idea or doesn't it work that g...

sonata 2+own duct
i am thinking of building an own duct to cool the graphic card, because it seems that the duct that is included doesn't do such a good job. my ide is to use the plastic part from the original duct and then building a tunnel and put a 80-92 mm fan that blows up towards the graphic card, can this be a...
