Re: AMD A10-5700 APU: Trinity at 65W

I wonder how much power this system would draw at idle using an ssd instead of a hard drive.

As I hope you have found out by now, you will have to program crystal to overclock as well as underclock, if that is what you are after. It won't do it on its own.

Oh yes, they are dropping. I'm down to about 30 C now on my cpu- down several degrees from where it was. I'm not really complaining- my rig is pretty quiet now, and will probably be much more so when I get the freezer 64 in there. Edit: I had to enable qfan in the bios- now the fan is ~1000 RPM. All...

I love this program- it has turned me from being an avid overclocker to an avid underclocker! I'm still using the stock hsf for my winchester 3000- though I have a freezer 64 on the way. One thing though- my cpu fan never goes below about 3068 rpm- it will go up, but it won't go below that figure. I...

Hmm- so what is the point of the feature- just an easy way to give your fan 5v?

s12-430 fan controller

I've just got a new s12-430. It has a connecter allowing you to attach your case fans to it, so it will control them. It has 1 12v and 2 5v connecters. My fans are the ones that came with my super lanboy- 2 120 mm fans. Should I let the s12 control them? Will the 5v connection be too slow- or the 12...

zalman vf700 question

I just installed a vf700 AICu on my 6600GT. One thing i'm not sure about, though. I -think- I used the 5v power, not the 12v, but i'm not sure. There are four power connectors- 2 with black tips and yellow and black wires, and 2 with white tips and red and black wires. I hooked it up to a white tipp...
