DIY heatsink for your video card
I haven't tried this yet but I'm sure it'll work for anyone on a budget. If you have a large video card like a 9800GTX, all you have to do is take off the stock encloser and place a fan over the heatsink. The heatsink is made of copper so the only thing keeping it hot is all that heat trapped inside...

I just got a Accelero S1 Rev.2 (It's nice!!)
I just got a Accelero S1 Rev.2 and it dropped my temps 20 degrees on load with a fan. It's much more quiet then stock too. I use to get 70C on full load and now I barely break 48C. I think one of the main reasons for this is that the stock fan had an encloser that trapped the heat inside. My...

Seasonic 380 and 9800 GTX+ 512MB
I just purchased a 9800 GTX+ 512MB and forgot all about the power requirements. Does anyone know if this will work together?
Does a Seasonic 380 work with 9800 GTX+ 512MB?
This is the card I purchased.

How to hook up fan controller outside Computer?
Can anyone tell me how to hook a fan controller outside of a computer?
The reason is because i placed my computer inside of a box shelf for a clean look and it's heating up. I need to creat some holes around my wooden casing and place fans with a fan controller in it. Any suggestions?

I think you should just use Core Temp. I've heard it's more accurate. That's what i use.. My temps are 40/36 right now. I probably have a bubble. As for the large jump i don't know what to tell you. Do you have a fan on your Ninja? I'm also running an x800xl so i cant tell you about the 8800GTS.

Im having a hard time deciding what fan wires to strip. Any suggestions? I was thinking about my CPU heat sink fan. Good idea?

CPU Usage Spikes, Normal on E6300?
Is it normal for the CPU Usage to spike when you open Firefox?
Mine spikes from 1% all the way up to 44% when opening one page.
I"m using task manager to determine this.
