Re: Lian-Li PC-Q11 Mini-ITX Configuration Advice?

the cables are fully modular and with the short cable set ( optional / bought separate ) you save a lot of space, also this psu fan runs faster at idle which is important because it acts as a better exhaust fan than my previous seasonic 430 which dropped internal temps a lot How many degrees the te...

How about a tiny file server optimized [chassis] from antec?

Hi all I just finished converting my nsk1380 to a file sever with 4 hard drives (by installing the 4th in place of the ODD. It just hit me then, antec -being a favorite among many forum readers- should bring a small chaises close to the size of the nsk1380 that can house at least 4 soft mounted hard...

Some CPUs are cooler/hotter than others! The solo is a well vented case, but to be sure i'd sat go for a arctic cooling freezer 7 pro i used it in a solo with a C2Quad 950 its silent, cheap and effective!

Thanks for the Tip, I did get my NSK1480 from vally seek. amazing case, fits my bill just right, replaced the tricools with scythe Kama-flex 80's
BUT the power supply needs the fan swab, so i was wondering what kind of fan size did the power supply use and what size did you use?

Hi Just wanted to say that I was disappointed with the new P183, in regard for the top mounted fan. I owned many Antec cases including a solo, P182, and currently a mini P180. And I personally felt what Mike chin mentioned in his review of the mini p180: it simply has a superior cooling compared to ...

Does anyone know what happened to the NSK1480? It seems to have come to market very briefly and then disappeared.
newegg has deactivated it
Most other shops are showing it as "out of stock"
has it been canceled?

Well I have a retail Tri-Cool, and it refuses to start on much less than 12V, no matter what position the little switch is in. I don't know if all Tri-Cools act this way, but it stops me from using the things. :( I tryed 2 samples of retail Tricools -sleeve type- and they work down to around 8 volt...

simple mod for the P182/miniP180 120mm fan

http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/7374/tricoolinminip180rx6.th.jpg I have both the mini P180 and P182, after lots of experiments I came to the conclusion that in a quite room you need the 120mm fans to be around 850~900 RBM to be really quite! problem is that the standard tricool that comes with the...

why do you think your mosfets need extra cooling? is the board unstable? Just to be sure.. as i'll be using the board with an overclocked Quad in a case with slow fans, and since i've upgraded the cooling for most other parts of the board and my IR thermometer is telling me that -when prime testing...

Actually: I'm thinking that i could cut the extra cables and only keep the ones that are going to be used, i'd like to know the clearance between the ODD and the power supply would allow the wiring to pass Down to the MB?

oh and both my Drives will Have Sata connection!

Hi Erssa

I Have a spare seasonic S12 430 PSU and plan to use it with the NSK3400 when it becomes available.

I was wondering if there is enough space for 2 optical drives + PSU+ PSU Cables to Fit in the upper compartment?

Thanks
