Your wiring in those those shots are unsafe. The pvc insulation of the thermistor wire is only rated to 60deg C, and during operation the heatsink you have attached it to can get hotter than that (up to 100deg) , or if the fan fails, or you introduce a new load etc. The heatsink is also often live o...

frankgehry, I am also interested in the smartpower2.0 mainly because it has the 2x 80mm fans, though I cannot find any pics of the insides, etc.
What is the configuration of the connectors?
How noisy is it etc, what rpm does the fan run at at what loads etc.

It looks like gen GPUs will draw some insane power. Check out http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/view.php?id=1603&cid=3&pg=1 They state it will draw pretty much all the power it is given, 150watts.
