I would vote for waste of time. My all copper unit came out of the package as close to mirror finish as I would want.

I was just wondering if anyone has got any measurements of the VF700's noise? Ideal woudl be a spcr review, but I guess other reviews would have to do. The reason is because I'm considering a new P180 setup. The only sources of noise will be 1-2 nexus fans, a Seasonic S12-420W and 1-3 Samsung P120s...
