Re: Corsair Obsidian 550D = P280 done right?
A Corsair rep on Hard[Forum] said they are supposed to land in CA port on 3/10. Newegg will have them first about 7-10 days later (assuming HMS does hold the container for inspection).

Re: Corsair Obsidian 550D = P280 done right?
Has anyone seen one of these first hand? Is spcr planning a review?

The fans themselves are smooth and quiet. The 2-speed switch is OK, too, just the position is a bit awkward.
Is that true for the high speed as well? I suspect I'll need more airflow than I'll get with the low speed.

Suggested improvements to P280 case?
I've got a p180 that I'm ready to retire for my next build. I'm tired of the wire routing problems, hassle with hard drives and struggle for cool temps with my overclocked setup ... & just ready for something new. From the reviews it seems the P280 is a quality case, but they skimped some on the sou...

Upgrade a p180 to a p182?
Is there any real reason to upgrade for a new system build? Also, 1) I notice that many people get rid of the bottom fan. I have 4 hard drives installed and found that the drives were getting too hot so I actually use the fan. Does this mean that my power supply might not be drawing air properly? 2)...

Zalman 9500 good choice for cooling RAM in P180?
It looks like the consensus is that the Thermaltake 90c and the Scythe Ninja are better heatsinks than the 9500, but I'm wondering about the effect of cooling the RAM. I have an Asus A8N-SLI Premium mounted in a P180 case. In my configuration, the CPU is mounted between the RAM and the fans at the b...

No case speaker in p180??
Ok, I must admit, this is by far the nicest case I've ever used. I've never had a lian-li or silverstone, so maybe it nothing new -- but boy, is it nicer than all the regular cases I've had before. But, there's no case speaker. Is that standard on high end cases? The only time I guess I'd use it is ...

Great post Freelancer!! What model of the Seasonic do you have? I'm trying to decide between the 430 & the 500. I've heard the 430 is a bit quieter and has a longer MB cable, but I may go with 500 just to be safe. p.s. Don't worry about the 'wankers' comment. I think most people would simply take it...
