It's no proof but they explaning pmr.

The hd160hj is a 1 platter 160 gb drive, so i think thats its a pmr drive.
I have one and its very quiet, and uses very low power.

Hello, I just installed this drive and i must say it's silent. I put it in a smartdrive 2002 copper and from 30 cm you can't here a thing. Hello, I was wondering if it is better to mount the phantom 350 upside down? All the components are mounted to the bottom with a heat conducting layer, also the fins on the bottom are longer.
