It's no proof but they explaning pmr.

The hd160hj is a 1 platter 160 gb drive, so i think thats its a pmr drive.
I have one and its very quiet, and uses very low power.

Hello, I just installed this drive and i must say it's silent. I put it in a smartdrive 2002 copper and from 30 cm you can't here a thing. After installing win xp, drivers ect. the temp according to smart is 28 c. It's uses also very little power. Samsung say's that it uses 6,5 w at idle. It's on no...

Yep, its improved! It loads fast and smooth. :D
Befor the upgrade the top banner appaerd always fisrt and within a sec or 2 the rest was loaded. Now its almost at the same time on my screen.
I think its a good improvement!
