I was reading that the other day - 35watts looks very low, which is good - strange how some other sites mention figures of 51watts and even upto 67watts. I've generally gone with XBitlabs figures though.

Hmm, the card seems to have virtually XT frequencies - could be a major competitor with the 7600GS.

Seeing as it's passive, and the last time the topic of load temps were talked about were nearly a couple of months back, I'm just wondering what people are getting with much warmer room temperatures? Are they getting much hotter? Things not much different?

I'm actually quite impressed with the fixing method the 9500 AM2 cooler has for AM2 motherboards - unlike the old version, it simply uses the existing retention brackets so much easier to install.

Most of the new boards I've seen have heatpipes (like the one on the previous page). That Gigabyte AM2 nForce 500 SLi x16 is of the few AM2 boards I've seen with a heatpipe (or fan), no AM2 mobo from Asus have it so far even though they used it on 939 models. Just wondering what kind of temperatures the passive versions of 7600GS are getting in both idle and load modes. I was thinking of getting 7600GT (which is alot faster) but was hearing things about how noisy the stock fan is, so thinking about the 7600GS now.
