Re: P180b, fan always noisy bottom bay
thanks, it seems the list needs updating tho ;) most of them are discontinued products. Have settled on D12SL-12 and will order one and hopefully will work well. The noise I am complaining about isnt a normal fan noise but rather the noise changes to indicate something isnt right. eg. rattling or an...

Re: Antec 280 OMG!
indeed looks sweet, the p180b which was good for its is showing its age as its a nightmare to swap drives in the bottom bay. This new case looks far simpler, and better with the possible fan placements as well. The proposed price doesnt actually seem too bad, my p180b cost me 80GBP if I remember rig...

P180b, fan always noisy bottom bay
Hi I have a p180b was using bottom antec tri fan which for the most part worked ok but then started randomly getting very noisy sounding like a motor engine, power cycling would stop the noise temporarily days/weeks. Also on the lowest speed it barely span and had next to no cooling so had to be run...

ayjay the bottom bay at least without that fan on leaves the hds very hot, my hds were cooler in cheap generic cases then they are in the p180 without the bottom fan and I think the reason for this is the hd bay been isolated from the rest of the case and the hds left generating heat in a small encl...

I got what I think is a p180v2 which I think is the same the 182 but not sure. Like yourself when the bottom fan is turned off the hd temps are very high, I have 4 hds in the bottom bay and temps were ranging between 55 and 58 degrees celsius, the 2 hds in the top bay were around the 60 degree mark ...

Hi I just setup mine today, my previous case was a unbranded standard midi tower, here is the comparison. OLD CASE Volcano Fan triple speed 3500,5000,7500rpm the top 2 speeds were very noisy, bottom was a bit too noisy for my liking. 4 hd's one on bottom of case on cardboard due to not enough slots....
