Re: Compact mATX case recommendation?
Actually, I am starting to like the Fractal Design 1100 more and more. Good looks, classical layout and slim(er) profile. Opinions? Limited use, due to 92mm fan, somehow limited CPU cooler clearance (for the vast majority of quiet tower coolers), and top mounted PSU against a solid panel. It sports...

It's useful for brackets and for two-slot GPUs in the bottom mATX slot, allowing one free slot in a dual-GPU setup.ggumdol wrote:(1) The "fifth" PCIE slot seems to be unnecessary, only adding to its volume.

Why is a company like Lian-Li, Silverstone or Fractal Design not interested in producing such a design?

Compact mATX tower
Still looking for a compact mATX tower case.. 17cm wide, 35cm deep, 36cm high, ATX PSU, 1x 2.5" HDD/SSD, no ODDs, external bays.
Did someone come up with a design yet?
Fractal Design 1000 is close but a bit too deep.

We are talking about routers that run Linux. OpenWRT vs Debian doesn't matter, it is the same code doing the important routing part and it is all kernel code. Sure, but sometimes it's nice to be able to run a normal / real Linux distro of your choice like Debian that can be updated when YOU want. O...

The Fortress FT05's layout is a huge advantage, as the video cards' thermal loads do not interfere with each other much compared to a standard tower. Could this claim be tested by rotating the case 90 degrees such that it's a 'standard' front2back airflow case? With this great discrepancy in temps,...
