Unlikely. Assuming everything is normal, you're looking at at least 1cm for the standoffs, about another 8-10 mm for the cpu in the socket, and then the cpu. Added up, it's not enough. Then, assuming you use the fan the way it's supposed to be used, you're looking at another 10-15 mm higher. Try som...

Very nice. The only thing I worry about is the thermalright hr-05 and the msofets not getting too much air. I have a thermalright v1 on my 6600. works Very well, but it might not fit on your board seeing how close the pci-e is to the chipset and cpu. it DOEs work VERY well on passive, under 40 idle ...

Hmm, there's a few things that could be better: 1. Corsair HX 620. it's quiet, but not the quietest you can get. 2. Drop the fan grilles. 3. hard drives need room to breathe. Plus, suspension = no vibration = win 4. wire management. eeww to those dfi cables. coulda used the ones the board came with?...

I'd vote for cutting the entire tube out. it doesn't take that much time. Maybe a minute for dremeling the sides, then another minute for removing the actual tube for that. That leaves you at 8 minutes for the entire fan. Give it another minute to clean it up, and another minute to attach it, and it...

It's not too hot for my rig.. It measured draw at over 500w. It's a single video card, 3 hard drives, and an amd opteron. Actual draw is under 300w. Please, please, please, use amps on the +12v next time. please. Anyone can buy a 700w power supply with 16a on +12v and have problems, while others may...

Major errors, problems, but an intresting problem. TT would NOT be my first choice for a case for those purposes. The Aluminum they use in the cases isn't as good for silencing as some other cases, the open front makes noise more percieved, and a lot of other stuff. Assuming the cooler really DOES t...

On the xp90, you dcan't stuff a 120 into there, without significant mods. Try one of those panaflo's, maybe a Nexus / yate loon, scythe, etc. Just avoid the antec tri-cool in 92mm which comes in clear. Ugh, worst fans I ever used. at 5v, it's got so much clicking, while at 12v, it's quite loud. 7v w...

What we really need, is a 'growth' of ATX, with minor changes, while still being entirely compatable with the vast majority of ATX cases. Sort of like relocating the video cards to the bottom of the board, a re-location of memory an cpu, while still using ATX layout. that's the sorta thing that's ne...

Well, firm stuff CAN absorb noise very well. Perhaps after being exposed to pc heat, it softens up a bit? I don't know, but i don't think it's a terrible product.

Yes, I understand. The conspiracies aren't entirely true, or entirely false. The government's official statement, same. Not entirely true, but not entirely false. Believe what you want. I just don't think zooming in on a few blurry pictures, picking pictures to prove a point, even if they're not ent...

1. We know that it is strictly impossible for any building, much less steel columned buildings, to "pancake" at free fall speed. Therefore, it is a non-controversial fact that the official explanation of the collapse of the WTC buildings is false. Actually, it's quite possible. What do you expect, ...
